Job summary

Keesler Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Contact Specialist I to join the on-site Contact Center in Jackson, MS. You will provide member account services, process transactions, and answer inquiries by phone with accuracy and courtesy.

Ideal candidates communicate well, maintain confidentiality, and multitask in a fast-paced environment while using the Synapsys CRM to manage service events and referrals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good typing/keyboard skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Punctuality and attendance are critical to this position.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and organizing workload.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and professionally with members and internal teams.
• Ensure confidentiality and protection of member information.
• Identify members for whom transactions are being conducted and verify ownership.
• Perform file maintenance, account changes, and non-cash transactions; provide balance inquiries and general information.
• Accept wire transfers and Speed Pay within established limits; process loan, deposit, withdrawal, and credit card payments.
• Resolve disputes or requests within scope of authority and escalate when necessary.
• Use Synapsys CRM to create service events and manage sales, referrals, and service timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Keesler FCU products and services.
• Comply with BSA, OFAC, and credit union policies and procedures.
