Job summary

Washington State Employees Credit Union is seeking a part-time Member Consultant to support multiple Thurston County branches. You will handle consumer lending, new accounts, and teller services while focusing on member needs and service excellence.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of relevant experience, basic MS Office skills, and a willingness to complete NMLS requirements, including fingerprinting and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a financial institution or retail/service position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Willing to register with NMLS, including fingerprinting and a national background check, and maintain the registration annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform all branch functions including consumer lending, opening new accounts, and teller services.
• Strive for and hit sales and service goals, while prioritizing the member's best interests.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with members.
• Understand members' journey and offer products and services to meet their needs.
• Show empathy and lend a hand to teammates when needed.
