Job summary

Washington State Employees Credit Union is seeking Member Consultants to support Thurston County branches, delivering friendly service, consumer lending, new accounts and teller duties. You will help members achieve financial goals and grow relationships in a cooperative, member-focused environment.

Positions come in three levels with competitive hourly pay, an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits. Training and advancement are encouraged within a supportive team in Olympia area branches.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a financial institution or retail/service-related position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Willingness to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, fingerprinting and a national background check, renewed annually.

Responsibilities

• Performing all branch functions including consumer lending, opening new accounts, and providing teller services.
• Striving for and hitting sales and service goals, while keeping the member's best interest front and center.
• Contributing to your teams successes and celebrating along the way.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with your members.
• Understanding your members' journey, offering products and services to meet their unique needs.
