Job summary

Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller/Banker to greet members and promote a range of financial products including checking, savings, loans, credit cards, and insurance services.

The role emphasizes building relationships, meeting sales goals, and educating members on digital services while maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Cross-training across teller and banker duties enables growth within SSFCU.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of retail banking, cash handling, customer service and sales, or comparable experience.
• Customer-centric attitude focused on delivering great experiences to our members while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the first impression of the credit union to members and champion SSFCU products and services.
• Promote checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services.
• Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with members and achieve sales goals.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and educate members on digital services.
• Provide universal service and be cross-trained in teller and banker functions for growth.
• Complete other duties to support SSFCU’s vision and values.
