• General knowledge of collections practices and member account management.
• Familiarity with regulations, including FDCPA (training provided).
• Strong verbal communication skills for handling sensitive conversations professionally.
• Active listening abilities to understand member situations and respond appropriately.
• Building rapport and maintaining a positive, member-focused approach.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and account updates.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and follow-ups and deadlines.
• Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to identify appropriate next steps within established guidelines.
• Ability to work under general supervision while following established procedures.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with daily call expectations.
• Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and navigating multiple systems.
