Collins Community Credit Union in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Member Benefit Consultant to actively promote CCCU products, originate accounts and consumer loans, and participate in outbound calling and community outreach. This onsite role supports members with financial needs and educates them on our services.

Collins Community Credit Union, a growing organization is currently recruiting for a Member Benefit Consultant. This person will be a competitive, independent, "doer" who can problem solve and get things done through people. In this role, you will actively promote CCCU products and services to new and existing members, originate new accounts and consumer loans (including home equity loans), participate in outbound calling and community outreach events. This position is onsite at our Blairs Ferry Road location in Cedar Rapids.

Must be available to work during business hours:

Monday - Thursday 8:00am- 5:15pm

Friday 8:30am - 5:45pm

Saturday rotation 8:30am- 12:15pm (flex day during the week when working Saturday rotation)

Member Benefit Consultant Expectations

• Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values, and long-term objectives. Performs duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards, and our work procedures.
• Represent the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain and protect the Credit Unions professional reputation and maintain confidentiality and privacy of members' information. Promote a positive image of the credit union.
• Responsible for building strong member relationships by engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover financial needs and identify opportunities.
• Assist members with consumer loan products through phone, text, email, and Video Banking while providing exceptional service and timely follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of all credit union products and services and assist members with financial transactions as needed.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all Federal Regulations and Credit Union Policies relating to this position.
• Assist members with in-person closings for consumer and home equity loans while ensuring accurate, efficient, and exceptional member experience.
• Present and educate members on the benefits of ancillary products, including GAP, Warranty, and Debt Protection.
• Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions with co-workers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
