Sandia Area Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time, on-site Member Consultant in Albuquerque, NM. You will build trusted member relationships, guide loan applications, and handle routine branch transactions with accuracy.

The role blends customer service with financial expertise to support everyday banking needs and member well-being. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in customer service or financial services, preferably in a credit union or banking

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales within banking/credit union preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial information and credit reports.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Build member relationships, open accounts, and guide through loan applications.
• Process financial transactions accurately and balance drawers.
• Proactively identify member needs to meet branch goals.
• Assist with opening/closing and routine branch operations.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies.
