Member Assist Cart Attendant – Sam's Club (Cheyenne, WY)

Position Summary

We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensuring there are carts ready and available. You will also assist members with loading their vehicles and supporting a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.

What you'll do

• Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by contacting members when pickup time is delayed; inform members when products are unavailable; offer alternatives; ensure items are packaged properly; dispense items when members arrive; resolve member issues; promote company products and services.
• Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps; following procedures for handling merchandise; reporting unsafe situations.
• Provide member service: acknowledge members, assist with purchasing decisions, process purchases; assist with payments; use cash registers; locate and organize merchandise; zone designated areas; resolve member issues; promote company products; organize and maintain carts/flatbeds; assist members with transporting items; use cart retrieval equipment; maintain parking lot cleanliness.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience.
