Job summary

City & County Credit Union is seeking a responsible bank teller to process transactions accurately and efficiently while upholding policies and procedures. You’ll be the frontline, educating members about products and services to help them achieve financial success.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent service, meeting daily transaction targets, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. A positive, self-driven approach and familiarity with financial regulations will help you

Qualifications

High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
One year teller experience in banking, personal banking, retail banking or financial services, or two years of cashiers experience.
Excellent communication and time management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Superior customer/member service skills.
Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, deposits, loan payments, withdrawals).
Educate members on credit union products and services for their financial needs (loans, online/mobile services).
Go the extra mile to build member trust and satisfaction.
Comply with regulatory requirements and Bank Secrecy Act policies.
Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent activity.
