Job summary

WEOKIE Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City seeks a Member Advocate I (Teller) at the South OKC location to serve members with friendly, accurate, and efficient service. You will handle cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries while following credit union policies and security controls.

You will also identify opportunities to refer products and services, support member financial needs, and uphold the credit union’s mission and values through every interaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Encouraged to earn or hold Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation.
• Must be able to learn and apply a variety of software applications.
• Must have accurate keyboarding skills.
• Prior retail service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary member service by handling cash and inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively identify opportunities to refer products and services to help members manage their financial needs.
• Listen actively to understand questions/concerns and provide guidance on appropriate products and services.
• Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and security controls; report policy gaps as needed.
• Balance cash drawer and handle end-of-day procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
