Job summary

American Health Advantage is seeking a Member Advocate to lead patient-centered support across local service areas. You will coordinate enrollment transitions, answer member questions, and act as a primary contact for families.

The role requires developing regional provider relationships, monthly member meetings, and compliant handling of CMS regulations. Travel to nursing facilities within the assigned region is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare delivery with elderly patients as clinician, social worker, or caregiver.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; strong listening skills.
• Familiarity with CMS regulations for Medicare Advantage plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear thinking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Insurance Producer after enrollment to ensure a smooth transition and service success.
• Follow up with members monthly to answer questions and provide plan updates.
• Provide front-line support to members, facilities, and care teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with network providers within the assigned region.
• Meet with members and families monthly; track issues and report to the plan.
• Maintain reporting on member status and calendars; ensure CMS compliance.
