Job summary

Suncoast Credit Union is seeking a Branch Customer Representative (Member Advocate) to provide professional, prompt, and courteous service in our Naples, FL branches. You will handle teller transactions, open deposit accounts, advise members on products, and maintain confidentiality while building lasting relationships with members.

The role emphasizes high-quality service, knowledge of Suncoast products, and ongoing competency development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience with a financial institution or similar customer service role (Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience).
• General math proficiency to balance cash drawer, audit own work, and reconcile accounts.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the branch, providing excellent service throughout interactions.
• Present and advise members about Suncoast financial products and services to meet needs.
• Perform teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, checks, loan payments, transfers, gift cards, money orders.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate teller balancing records.
• Verify deposits, withdrawals, and account balances; obtain proper identification and signatures.
