Job summary

TRUE Community Credit Union is looking for a Part-Time Member Advisor to join our Brooklyn Branch, assisting with everyday banking needs, deposits, withdrawals, and loan guidance while building strong member relationships.

You will provide personalized financial solutions, educate on fraud prevention, and promote products that support members' financial well-being, delivering outstanding service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of banking, retail, cash handling, customer service, sales, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using technology and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account transactions with accuracy.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and assist with consumer loan applications.

TRUE Community Credit Union is looking for a Part-Time Member Advisor to join our team at our Brooklyn Branch. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience as a Bank Teller, Universal Banker, Personal Banker, Member Service Representative, Financial Services Representative, Customer Service Representative, or Retail Associate who enjoy helping people, building relationships, and making a positive impact every day.

As a Member Advisor, you'll be a trusted resource for members by providing exceptional service and guidance through everyday financial interactions. You'll assist with transactions, account services, and lending solutions while helping members achieve their financial goals. Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, strengthen relationships, and create a positive member experience.

Schedule

This part-time position works approximately 26 to 29 hours per week, including weekday shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. and 2 to 3 Saturdays per month from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

What You'll Do

As a Member Advisor, you'll help members with their everyday banking needs while providing personalized financial solutions. You'll process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account transactions with accuracy and efficiency. You'll open and maintain deposit accounts, assist with consumer loan applications, educate members on fraud prevention and account security, and recommend products and services that support their financial well-being. Success in this role comes from delivering outstanding customer service, identifying member needs, and building lasting relationships through every interaction.
