This role emphasizes safety, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to enhance steel quality.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in metallurgy or related field and at least four years of hands-on melt shop experience, with a focus on

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of four years hands-on experience supporting EAF and/or LMF steelmaking operations.
• Ability to work safely with operators, maintenance, quality and engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Providing day-to-day technical support for melt shop EAF and LMF operations.
• Developing and implementing EAF operating practices for optimization.
• Developing and implementing LMF clean steel practices, including alloy additions and slag control.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in steelmaking processes.
• Monitoring and improving process consistency, steel cleanliness and product quality.
• Partnering with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to solve technical and production challenges.
