System One is seeking a Melt Operator in Landisville, PA on a contract-to-hire basis. You will operate melt elements to produce alloy for rare earth magnet production, while adhering to safety standards and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate melt elements to produce alloy for magnet production.
• Handle gases safely and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Clean and prepare furnaces and work areas to standards.
• Weigh materials and transfer to the furnace accurately.
• Maintain material organization and ensure correct lots.
• Identify flask/coil issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor furnaces for melt accuracy and production rates.
• Document data in ERP systems and logs as required.
• Conduct in-process inspections when needed.
