Charter Casting in Shawano, WI is hiring Melt Deck Operators for 1st or 3rd shift (12-hour, 6pm-6am) at $24.75–$27/hr with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Two positions available at 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano. Responsibilities include transporting materials, operating furnaces, and ensuring area safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED; GED works program available.

Responsibilities

• Transport melting materials and supplies.
• Operate melting furnace charging equipment.
• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.
• Move materials from the warehouse to the melt deck.
• Remove slag hoppers and transport to refuse containers.
• Maintain safety for self and others in the area.

Melt Deck Operator | 1st or 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am) | $24.75 - 27/hr

• Transport melting materials and supplies;
• Operate melting furnace charging equipment
• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.
• Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck.
• Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers.
• Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area.
