Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Construction Manager to lead mega projects across North America, overseeing safety, schedule, cost, and quality. This 100% travel role includes per diem and periodic relocations with 1–2 year assignments at locations across the Gulf Coast region and beyond.

You will report to the Mega Construction & TAR Projects Manager and drive execution excellence while coordinating with subcontractors, inspectors, and the AP Project team. A strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated safety leadership on a construction site.
• Ownership mindset for the SOW and project deliverables.
• Strong background in contract administration and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Drive and enforce a progressive safety program with a goal of zero incidents.
• Work with Managers & Superintendents as part of a site construction team.
• Plan and coordinate activities of multiple subcontractors.
• Manage construction contracts to ensure quality and on-time completion.
• Clear obstacles to enable subcontractors to succeed.
• Analyze contractor progress and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the AP Project team, subcontractors, inspectors and others professionally.
• Report and forecast progress using construction productivity software.
