Job summary

Mullins Mechanical in Texas is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead construction projects from inception to closeout. You will mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Managers, guiding high-profile, complex projects and building strong client relationships.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and profitability, approve subcontracts and change orders, and oversee billing and project forecasting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial construction managing $75MM+ projects.
• SPMP, PMP, CCM or equivalent certification is a plus.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR trained.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control knowledge.
• Experience with Procore and MS Office.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and lead project teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Managers.
• Oversee high-profile and complex projects with minimal executive oversight.
• Allocate necessary resources to meet project schedules.
• Attend project hand-off meetings to gather crucial information.
• Review and approve Schedule of Values for owner billing.
• Actively manage project schedules, budgets, and profitability.
• Approve high-value subcontracts and purchase orders, including negotiations.
• Review and approve monthly project billing and invoices.
• Oversee pricing, negotiations, and authorization of project scope changes.
• Review and approve Notices of Delay to document external schedule impacts.
• Participate in hiring and recruiting project management and field personnel.
• Conduct annual employee reviews for direct reports.
• Ensure project safety, quality, and productivity; maintain site cleanliness and update project tracking forms.
