Job summary

Mullins Mechanical seeks an experienced Project Executive to guide industrial construction from inception to closeout, mentoring Senior Project Managers and leading mega projects.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and profitability while building strong client relationships and coordinating resources to meet aggressive timelines. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader skilled in contracts, safety, and value engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Industrial Construction, managing $75MM+ projects.
• SPMP / PMP / CCM certifications are a plus.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR.
• Extensive experience budgeting construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of materials and equipment.
• Organized leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
• Expertise in contract and subcontracts documents and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Managers.
• Oversee high-profile and complex projects with minimal executive oversight.
• Collaborate with team leaders to allocate resources and meet schedules.
• Attend project hand-off meetings to gather critical information.
• Review and approve Schedule of Values for owner billing.
• Actively manage project schedules, budgets, and profitability.
• Approve high-value subcontracts and purchase orders; negotiate terms.
• Review monthly project billing and invoices; manage change orders.
• Review and approve notices of delays documenting external impacts.
• Participate in hiring/project staffing and conduct annual reviews.
• Ensure project safety, quality, and productivity; maintain site organization.
• Maintain project tracking forms and overall site cleanliness.

As a Project Executive at Mullins, you will be a key player in managing and guiding construction projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include leading mega projects while mentoring and advising Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Managers, overseeing high-profile and complex projects, and developing strong client relationships. Your role will encompass various aspects from project setup to closeout, and you will play a critical role in project forecasting, change management, and project schedule management. The work location for this position will be based on assignment to a project location.

• Ensure project safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain job site cleanliness and update project tracking forms

Qualifications

• 10+ years of previous work experience in the Industrial Construction industry, with experience managing projects $75MM+ in value
• Certification such as SPMP, PMP, CCM, or equivalent is a plus
• OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Training
• Extensive experience managing construction project budgets
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment
• Highly organized with proven leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with construction safety and quality standards
• Understanding of construction management processes
• Ability to collaborate and plan effectively
• Experience with construction and project management software (i.e. Procore)
• Budgeting, scheduling, negotiation, and cost control abilities
• Strong familiarity with contract and subcontract documents
• Conflict resolution and management experience
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
