Paragonix Technologies, a rapidly growing medical device company in Waltham, MA, is offering a co-op position focused on new product development within the R&D team. You will design, prototype, test, and document activities that advance surgical preservation technologies used for donor organs.

The role emphasizes hands-on 3D modeling with SolidWorks, benchtop testing, data analysis, and clear technical writing.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
• Available full-time for the duration of the co-op (January 2027 – June 2027).
• Must be onsite in Waltham, MA for the entire duration of the co-op.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Waltham, MA Paragonix location; company does not provide transportation.
• Housing/relocation stipends are not provided.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilités

• 3D Modeling & Prototyping using SolidWorks to create parts, drawings, prototypes, and fixtures.
• Benchtop Testing and development of test methods for new medical devices.
• Data analysis of experimental measurements and trend evaluation.
• Technical writing of test methods, procedures, data logs, and reports.
• Test setup engineering and fixture/instrumentation design for product testing.
• Sample fabrication to support iterative design cycles and team evaluations.
