Job summary

Lighteum Medical in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a Project Manager II to organize, manage, and deliver medium to large programs that support long-term growth. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with quality and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include governance, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, industrial engineering, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of project management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a PMP certification; or 5-10 years of relevant manufacturing experience without a PMP.
• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Lean Manufacturing, Project Management frameworks, MRP, and ERP platforms.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Define project tasks and ensure activities progress and are completed on time.
• Own and manage a portfolio of medium to large programs for the business.
• Develop governance, metrics, and reporting mechanisms for programs/projects.
• Ensure programs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate project teams and manage ongoing communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure all project requirements, including safety, costs, lead time, and documentation, are met.
