CONMED Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join the Advanced Surgical division's R&D team in Denver, CO. The role focuses on minimally invasive surgical technologies, supporting ongoing product development across our portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of engineering experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and solid CAD skills. You will contribute to design, testing, validation, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory

Qualificações

• 3-5+ years of engineering work experience.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or highly related field) required.
• Basic skills in 3-D CAD software.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in sustaining high-quality disposable and/or capital medical products for surgical use.
• Engage in all phases of design, development, component procurement, assembly, verification, validation, and manufacturing.
• Conduct root-cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Create conceptual and detailed designs, CAD modeling, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
• Develop test protocols, reports, and presentations related to design activities.
• Perform design analyses including tolerance analysis and stress calculations.
• Contribute to project schedules and cross-functional buy-in.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver updated products.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Conduct verification and validation testing.
