Ipsos in US is seeking a Forecaster – Healthcare Market Research to blend healthcare expertise with forecasting analytics, supporting decision-making in healthcare. The role involves statistical modeling, market intelligence, and industry knowledge to predict trends and guide strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SPSS, SAS) and data analysis tools.
• Experience in market research methodologies (primary/secondary, surveys, focus groups, competitive analysis).
• Understanding of healthcare market structures, reimbursement models, and regulatory environments specific to medical devices, diagnostics and technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Market Research & Analysis: Oversee primary and secondary research to understand HCP and patient needs and preferences, competitor activities, and healthcare market dynamics.
• Forecasting & Modeling: Design, develop and maintain statistical and econometric models to project market growth, product adoption, and sales potential in healthcare sectors.
• Data Analysis: Identify, Source and analyze historical and current healthcare market data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with insights, data analytics, marketing, sales, product development, and healthcare operations teams to align forecasts with business strategy.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for executives and stakeholders, highlighting forecast accuracy and implications.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform market entry, expansion, or product positioning.
• Model Validation: Test forecast accuracy, refining models, and ensure they remain relevant to evolving market conditions.
