Real Staffing Group is seeking a Director of Procurement for a rapidly growing medical device company in the Irvine area. The role leads global sourcing, supplier management, and contract manufacturing to support commercialization of innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes.

You will oversee a team of procurement professionals and partner with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance to build scalable procurement processes and robust supplier partnerships.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 6+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing or supplier management in MedTech or regulated environments.
• Experience with CMOs and global supplier networks preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FDA quality regulations and ISO 13485.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a procurement team across direct, indirect, and NPI categories.
• Establish and execute sourcing strategies for components, materials, and services.
• Own supplier lifecycle from selection to risk mitigation and performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term partnerships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with global contract manufacturers and key suppliers in Europe.
• Drive capacity planning, production scheduling alignment, and issue resolution with external partners.
• Support technology transfers, scale-up, and manufacturing validation.
• Implement supplier governance, KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR and internal standards.
• Lead supplier audits and business continuity planning.
• Participate in S&OP processes and broader commercialization objectives.
