Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a part-time Field Service Tech Remediation to support clinical field operations nationwide. You will travel to healthcare facilities to upgrade software on automated medication dispensing devices, perform installations, configurations, and updates, and ensure devices function properly after setup.

You will troubleshoot hardware and network issues, follow calibration protocols, educate staff, and maintain credentialing with hospitals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and update medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, escalate as needed.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
