Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a field technician to collaborate with healthcare professionals, traveling to hospitals to perform software upgrades for automated medication dispensing devices.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in field technician roles preferred.
  • Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
  • Must maintain personal parts inventory sourced from approved vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
  • Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
  • Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
  • Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment
  • Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
