Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a field-based technician to install, configure, and upgrade automated medication dispensing devices across healthcare facilities. You will travel regionally to hospitals, perform post-setup checks, troubleshoot issues, and educate staff on device usage and software functionality.

Please note the role requires readiness for nights/weekends as needed and adherence to hospital credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
