Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting Electrical Engineering Co-ops for the Spring 2027 term in Cincinnati, OH. Students will contribute to electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments, robotics, and data acquisition systems, with hands-on testing and prototyping experience.

Rotations are 3–4 months each, with housing resources and a competitive stipend. Interns must be enrolled in an accredited program and legally authorized to work in the U.S. for the term.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or related field.
• Must have completed at least two semesters prior to co‑op start and be a student for the term.
• Permanent US work authorization for the duration of the co‑op is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments or related systems.
• Perform testing, experiments, and validation to support product design.
• Assist in data acquisition, analysis, and troubleshooting of prototypes.
• Support circuit design, firmware/software writing, and PCB fabrication.
• Participate in rotations across different projects during the term.
