Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 3–6 months in medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English; comfortable handling small parts with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Writes labels for materials, components and products with necessary details.
• Cuts collagen sponges to specified sizes using cutting equipment.
• Inspects products for defects and thickness, using gauges and visual checks.
• Packs products according to shop orders and procedures.
• Reads orders, blueprints and procedures for specifications.
• Records information on required documentation.
• Assists peers to complete tasks and may perform other duties as assigned.
• Works on priority orders to meet production schedules.
• Responsible for productivity and quality targets.
• Follows clean room, gowning rules and PPE requirements.
• Adheres to production instructions and manufacturing specs.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and tools.
