Job summary

Integra LifeSciences is seeking an assembler to join its production team. The role involves labeling materials, trimming and inspecting parts, and making accept/reject decisions based on visual checks and specifications.

You will read shop orders and procedures, rework rejected lots, and support multiple assembly lines as production needs require. The position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity with small parts, and the ability to understand English.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 3-6 months of experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Manual abilities to work with small parts and hand tools.
• Ability to perform variety of operations on different assembly lines.

Responsibilities

• Writes labels for all materials, components, and products with identifying information such as Description, Quantity, Name, etc.
• Trims, inspects, removes particles on sheeting's, discs, packaging, among others using assembly fixtures, hands, and/or hand tools.
• Inspects components and/or products during each operation for defects, particles or air bubbles visually requiring extremely accurate and diversified work with constant concentration of visual effort.
• Reads shop orders, blueprints, and procedures for specifications.
• Re-works rejected lots from QA Inspectors.
• May perform non-routine operations according to specifications on shop orders in a separate area either sitting, standing or walking during the working period.
