Job summary

Integra LifeSciences Corporation is seeking a Collagen Pack Assembler I for 2nd shift in Anasco, PR. You will label materials, cut collagen sponges to size, inspect products for defects, and pack units using sealing machines while following shop orders and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail and ability to read English are required. The role requires adherence to cleanroom protocols, proper gowning, and safe handling of materials; prior medical device manufacturing experience is preferred but

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 3-6 months of experience in medical device manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to read and understand English
• Manual abilities to work with small parts and hand tools

Responsibilities

• Writes labels for materials and products with identifying information such as Description, Quantity, Name
• Cuts collagen sponges to specific size using cutting equipment/tool
• Inspects collagen products for defects, surface pattern, razor cuts, open edges, or foreign matter visually using the spot lights; measure thickness with a gage
• Packs products using Alloyd sealing machines
• Reads shop orders, blueprints, and procedures for specifications
• Fills information on the documentation such as Shop Orders, etc.
• Assists group peers to complete assigned tasks
• May perform other tasks as requested by supervisor
• Assembles are required to work on priority orders to meet production schedules
• Assembles are responsible for achieving productivity and quality standards
• Follows Clean Room Rules and Gowning Practices
• Uses required protective equipment at the workstation
• Follows Production Order Instructions and manufacturing specs
• Keeps work area and tools clean and organized
