Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Willow Glen is seeking a compassionate MedTech to assist residents with daily living activities, medication management as allowed, and daily progress notes. You will help create a warm, dignified environment for seniors within our Willow Glen community.

Requirements include current MedTech training or state certification, CNA license or equivalent caregiving experience, and ability to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current MedTech training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
