Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking compassionate caregivers/Med Techs for a PT evening shift (3pm-11pm) to assist residents with daily living activities and administer medications as allowed by state regulations. The role emphasizes dignity, individualized care, and timely progress notes in a warm, family-oriented community.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• Two years of caregiver experience recommended.
• First aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (Chart by exception).

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
