Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Woodstock is looking for caring Caregivers/MedTechs to support residents in our welcoming community. The roles include assisting with daily living activities, medication management as allowed by state, and completing daily progress notes.

Shifts available: 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. We offer full-time and part-time benefits such as medical/dental/vision, life insurance, EAP, PTO, free daily meals, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, disability and pet insurance, and

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver or med tech
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
