Medtech and Pharma Software Sales Executive - Remote

Position Overview

Responsible for driving SaaS and Hybrid SaaS revenue growth within the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries by generating subscription and follow-on services sales to meet ARR targets. Uses a strategic, value-based sales approach to develop and execute multi-channel account strategies for Named Accounts and New Logo prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Planning: Define short-term goals for named accounts to achieve revenue targets; develop account-specific strategies aligned with customer journeys; identify and execute go-to-market tactics.
  2. Team Orchestration: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration; lead matrixed teams to advance opportunities; deliver tailored value-based messaging.
  3. Prospecting and Discovery: Manage a pipeline, qualify opportunities, conduct targeted campaigns, and evaluate customer needs and ROI.
  4. Opportunity Management: Guide customers through the buying process, develop stakeholder strategies, and monitor post-sale success.
  5. Sales Administration, Analytics, and Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, analyze outcomes, and prepare reports for strategy refinement.
  6. Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Share insights and mentor junior team members.
Minimum Requirements
  • Expertise in SaaS sales, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and digital industry software.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Business acumen with experience in manufacturing software sales, especially in medical device/pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage a balance of new logo acquisition (70%) and account expansion (30%).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Sales, or equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
  • Up to 50% domestic travel.
  • Experience managing 15-20 small to medium accounts with a personal sales quota.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and standard business tools.
