Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced RN for Med/Surg/Telemetry on the 5th Floor. This full-time day-shift position requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care using the Watson Model of Care, with 12-hour accountability.

Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will coordinate care for a defined patient group and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a safety-net hospital serving South Los Angeles communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Current California Nursing license; Basic EKG competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care.
• Organize, plan, direct, and coordinate nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and standards of practice.
