Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for RN MedSurg/Tele on the 4th Floor, Full-Time Nights. The Clinical Staff Nurse provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care with 12‑hour accountability, coordinating plans and directing care under the Watson Model.

Requirements include California RN license, at least 1 year in Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care, and Basic EKG competence; BLS and ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Nursing degree preferred; ADN/diploma acceptable.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience; Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care preferred.
• Current California Nursing license; Basic EKG competence.
• CPI Blue Card within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• RN MedSurg/Tele on the 4th Floor provides 12‑hour patient care.
• Organize, plan, direct, and coordinate high quality, patient/family centered care.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Medical‑Surgical Telemetry and care teams.

Education

Bachelor in Nursing degree preferred

Associate in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent
