Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for MedSurg/Telemetry on the 4th Floor. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safe, evidence-based practice across a 12-hour shift.

Requires CA RN license, 1 year Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care experience, BLS/ACLS; Bachelor's preferred; bilingual Spanish a plus. Internal MLKCH Versant Nurse Residency candidates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing degree preferred.
• Associate in Nursing or Nursing Diploma or equivalent.
• Internal MLKCH Versant Nurse Residency candidates welcomed.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum 12 months Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Basic EKG competence.
• CCRN/CCRN-preferred or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care following the Watson Model.
• Coordinate care with the medical team for a defined patient group on a 12-hour shift.
