Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse for the 5th Floor Med/Surg/Telemetry.

The RN will be responsible for organizing, planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high-quality, individualized patient care over 12-hour shifts in a 5th floor unit. Reporting to the Manager of Medical-Surgical Telemetry, the role emphasizes patient-family centered care using the Watson Model of Care while supporting the hospital’s mission and core values.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical nursing experience minimum.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Basic EKG competence.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour nursing care on Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Assess and plan patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in IPOC following hospital policies.
• Maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance.
