Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across its surgical units. The RN will assess needs, develop and evaluate a plan of care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure safe, compassionate nursing practices.

The role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, ADN with BSN preferred, current BLS, ACLS within 3 months, and at least one year of hospital-based experience. Strong computer skills and PEARS are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS required within three (3) months of employment.
• PEARS certification preferred.
• One (1) year hospital-based experience required (full or part-time > 20 hours per week).
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet patient/family needs.
• Completes hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs; ensures a patient-friendly and safe environment.
• Collaborates with the patient's designated care partner to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
