Are you a dynamic and driven Med-Surg nurse leader ready to make a measurable impact? We are seeking a Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical Unit (Night Shift) to lead a 46-bed (expandable to 53 beds) unit with 30–40 FTEs. This role requires someone passionate about accountability, mentorship, and measurable outcomes in patient and staff satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24/7 oversight for the Medical-Surgical unit on the night shift

  • Coordinate and supervise unit operations to support high-quality patient care

  • Support performance improvement activities, cost control, and adherence to policies

  • Mentor and lead nursing staff, fostering professional development

  • Partner with department leaders to meet hospital, division, and corporate benchmarks

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of recent leadership experience in an acute care setting (required)

  • 3–5 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital (required)

  • Current RN license in Texas or Compact State RN license

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred

  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC required)

  • Advanced specialty certification required within 1 year of hire
