Are you a dynamic and driven Med-Surg nurse leader ready to make a measurable impact? We are seeking a Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical Unit (Night Shift) to lead a 46-bed (expandable to 53 beds) unit with 30–40 FTEs. This role requires someone passionate about accountability, mentorship, and measurable outcomes in patient and staff satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 oversight for the Medical-Surgical unit on the night shift
Coordinate and supervise unit operations to support high-quality patient care
Support performance improvement activities, cost control, and adherence to policies
Mentor and lead nursing staff, fostering professional development
Partner with department leaders to meet hospital, division, and corporate benchmarks
Qualifications:
Qualifications
1–2 years of recent leadership experience in an acute care setting (required)
3–5 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital (required)
Current RN license in Texas or Compact State RN license
Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred
BLS certification (AHA or ARC required)
Advanced specialty certification required within 1 year of hire
