Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking skilled Medium Equipment Operators to join our team in Russel Springs, KY. You will operate medium-sized heavy equipment for site preparation, excavation and material handling on construction projects, while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

You will perform pre-operation inspections, communicate with the team, and assist with general labor when not operating equipment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience operating medium-sized heavy equipment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Read and interpret grade stakes and blueprints is a plus.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium-sized heavy equipment such as water trucks, articulated off-road trucks, motor graders, rollers and forklifts.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report maintenance issues or defects.
• Load/unload materials, grade surfaces, dig trenches, clear land and follow project plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers on the job site.
• Assist with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies on the job site.
