This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy equipment used in energy services construction projects. Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Operate heavy equipment including, but not not limited to, excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. \* Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment, including checking fluid levels, tires, and all safety devices. \* Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed. \* Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and governmental regulations (OSHA, etc.). \* Interpret and follow instructions from supervisors, including blueprints, schematics, and work orders. \* Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment operation, maintenance, and work performed. \* Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and other personnel on site. \* Ensure proper care and handling of all tools and equipment. \* Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment. \* Perform general labor duties as required when not operating equipment.
