Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Medium Equipment Operator to join our team in Donaldsonville, LA. This role involves safely and efficiently operating various types of medium-sized construction equipment for site preparation, excavation, and material handling on construction projects.

You will perform daily pre-operation inspections, load/unload materials, and follow project plans while communicating with supervisors and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating medium-sized heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and other construction documents is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium-sized heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, motor graders, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
