Job summary

Jordan Ford in San Antonio is hiring a Full-Time Medium Duty Truck Technician for our new shop opening in 2026. The role offers competitive hourly pay, great benefits, and ongoing Ford training in a modern, air-conditioned shop.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium-duty trucks, using diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot systems while ensuring safety and quality in a professional environment.

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in medium-duty truck repair or diesel repair.
CDL is a plus (preferred).
Ford and Cummins certifications are preferred or required where applicable.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium-duty trucks.
Perform engine, transmission, brake, and suspension work.
Conduct preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot systems.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.
Document repairs and communicate findings with service advisors.
