Manpower Group (USA) in San Antonio is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. This is a full‑time, Monday–Friday position with 8:00–17:00 hours, offering competitive pay between $90,000 and $105,000 and paid training.

You will perform advanced repairs, use diagnostic software, and document service reports, with required graduation from a technical school and ASE/MHE certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a technical school or skilled trades program preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of heavy-duty truck repair experience.
• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification.
• Air Conditioning (AC) Certification.
• Brake System Certification.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex engine, drivetrain, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions.
• Perform advanced repairs and overhauls on trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Conduct detailed failure analysis on damaged components and determine root causes.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform quality control inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic software, electronic service tools, and computer systems to identify and reprogram engine-related issues.
• Complete service reports, timecards, parts requests, warranty documentation, and repair records accurately.
