The Waterfront Rescue Mission in Pensacola, FL is seeking a dependable Driver for the Recycling and Donation Center. The role supports the ministry by transporting donations and ensuring safe vehicle operation.

You will perform daily truck inspections, load and stage donations, interact professionally with donors, and report routes. No CDL is required, and candidates should embrace the Mission's values.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and be insurable.
• Christian Values Commitment with high ethics and character.
• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections using the DOT inspection form.
• Operate truck to acquire donations for the ministry.
• Determine if donations meet WRM quality standards.
• Load and unload donations efficiently to maximize space and minimize damage.
• Communicate professionally with donors.
• Fill out daily reports regarding vehicle routes and donations.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and all equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors.

Job Summary:

Drives ministry’s trucks todonor locations and picks-up donated items. Performs all preventive maintenancechecks and informs supervisor of items needing repair and items that createsafety deficiencies. Perform allreasonably related duties as assigned.
