The Waterfront Rescue Mission in Pensacola is hiring a Furniture Processor. You will receive furniture donations at the store, assist in unloading donations from trucks, and prepare items for presort.
After sales, help customers load furniture into vehicles and dispose of waste per guidelines. Work is team oriented with a focus on safety and excellent customer service, along with maintaining clean facilities and following WRM procedures.
The Waterfront Rescue Mission, recognized in 2025 as one of the Best Christian Workplaces in the country, is hiring a positive, highly productive, safety‑minded and team oriented Furniture Processor. Under the supervision of management receives furniture donations from donor at store location, assists in unloading furniture donations from the truck and prepares donations for presort process. Once furniture is sold, assists customers in loading furniture into customer’s vehicle. Removes waste from warehouse and performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: Ability to read and write and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid state driver’s license and be insurable by the WRM insurance carrier. Must be able to make adjustments to timing (speed of handling) and placement of donations as the volume and frequency of donations change throughout the day.
