CoralTree is seeking a seasoned Cook III - Sotogrande to join the Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team in Fort Lauderdale. You will deliver distinctively Mediterranean culinary experiences, report to the Sous Chef, and contribute to high-volume service with a focus on quality and hospitality.

The role emphasizes authentic Mediterranean flavors, teamwork, safety, and guest satisfaction, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within CoralTree Hospitality properties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Mediterranean or similar culinary settings preferred
• Strong culinary fundamentals and knife skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare Mediterranean meals and substitute items with authentic flavors.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures for optimal results.
• Thaw and refrigerate food safely to maintain quality.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish reflecting Mediterranean aesthetics.
• Maintain detailed food logs and monitor quality and quantity.
• Communicate effectively with the Chef and team during peak periods.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
