Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a seasoned Cook II - Sotogrande to join our opening culinary team. You will craft distinctive Mediterranean dishes in a high-volume environment and help deliver authentic dining experiences for our guests.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will uphold quality standards, supervise prep and ensure proper food handling, with at least 3 years in Mediterranean or similar settings and a culinary arts degree preferred.

Formación

• 3+ years of related work experience in Mediterranean or similar culinary settings.
• Degree in culinary arts highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
• Prepare special Mediterranean meals and substitute items, infusing traditional flavors and ingredients.
• Regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters for Mediterranean cooking.
• Thaw food properly and ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish reflecting Mediterranean aesthetics.
• Maintain detailed food logs and monitor quality and quantity of food.
• Communicate during busy periods to facilitate assistance and notify Chef about excess items for daily specials.
